Goin’ to Vegas and need help with what to pack? I got you COVERED. I curated all of my top picks for a girls weekend in Vegas so you don’t have to stress about it.
Vegas is one of the destinations where you can dress very LOUD and take chances with your outfits. It’s the place to bring the dress that has ever made you ask yourself, “but where would I ever wear this to?!”. The answer is Vegas, baby.
I’m heading out there this weekend with all of my girlfriends to celebrate my BFF’s bachelorette, and it is going to be one jam-packed hell of a weekend! I’m the maid of honor, so I’ve been planning this trip months in advance to make sure everything is stress-free and seamless. A blog post on that later 😉
Let’s get to it, yeah? I broke down my packing list into categories: dresses, shoes, bags, bikinis, and cover ups. Also, all of the items below are shoppable! If you find something you like just click on the image and it will take you straight to the retailer.
Dresses. I’m a girl for OPTIONS. I usually bring 2 extra dresses (in addition to one dress per night) because honestly you just never know. In the past I’ve brought dresses that I never ended up wearing because A) I wasn’t in the mood or B) the zipper broke / there was a wardrobe malfunction. I’ve been that girl that runs downstairs to the shopping area and settles for a plan Z option and let me tell you it’s not ideal… this is why I bring extra.
I usually go for a fun, colorful mini dress or a sexy black mini. Here are some options I love:
And then you need somewhat comfortable heels that add to your look. Shoes can instantly make or break a look, so I tend to gravitate towards skinny straps and tie up heels, which elongate the legs and gives a classy look. I am ANTI-chunky-heels for Vegas.
No look is complete without your bag. I usually prefer a cross body since you’re less likely to put it down somewhere and lose it. I try to bring a nude, black, and champagne colored bag so they’re more likely to match all of my dress options, but bringing a statement bag is great too.
If you’re going in the summer time, you’re most likely going to be hitting the pool parties, which for me is usually the highlight of my Vegas trips! I bring bikinis that have a lot of extra detail. High legs, bright colors, metallic hardware, sequins, you name it.
and of course every bikini needs a cover up! Don’t do what I did and get yelled at in the casino for not having a cover up over my bikini top. Hehe.
Happy shopping and happy packing!
